About Bill
Community Leadership
Bill has been active in Baltimore City civic affairs for almost twenty years. Having just stepped down after three terms as board president of Citizens Planning and Housing Association (CPHA), Bill is also a past president of the Greater Homewood Community Corporation, the Greenmount Avenue Revitalization Task Force, the Greater Baltimore Young Democrats, and the Mobtown Players, a local community theater company. Other local boards he has served on include the Baltimore Museum of Art, the Johns Hopkins’ Society of Black Alumni, the York Road Partnership, the Radnor-Winston Improvement Association, and the Friends of the Govans Library. Bill is currently participating in the Greater Baltimore Committee's LEADERship Program, an exclusive year-long program that brings together Baltimore area leaders from a variety of backgrounds.
