Campaign contributions made by any one person cannot exceed $4,000 to one state candidate's campaign account and cannot exceed $10,000 to all Maryland non-federal candidates during the 4 year term cycle. The current cycle began on Jan 1, 2003 and will end on Dec. 31, 2007. Corporate contributions are allowed by state law. Contributions to political campaigns are not tax deductible
